Letter from the President

As President of the International Relations Club, it is my honor to welcome you to KCMUN — a proud continuation of Kinnaird’s legacy of academic excellence and leadership. This conference marks the revival of our flagship IRCMUN, reimagined with a renewed vision and powered by a dynamic team of women across the Secretariat, Management, and Committee leadership. KCMUN is more than a forum for debate — it is a space for dialogue, collaboration, and the growth of future leaders. We hope it inspires confidence, builds meaningful connections, and encourages you to engage deeply with the pressing challenges of our world.

Letter from the Secretary General

As the Secretary-General of KCMUN, I take great pride in welcoming you all to this year’s conference. What makes KCMUN truly special is not only its redefined identity, transforming from IRCMUN into KCMUN but also the fact that it stands as a conference organized entirely by the determined and empowered women of Kinnaird College. It is more than just an MUN Conference, a platform where young minds can deliberate on pressing issues, learn the art of diplomacy, and discover their potential as leaders of tomorrow. Leading this flagship event, I welcome you all to an experience designed to challenge, inspire, and elevate every delegate. KCMUN stands as a testament to the skill, commitment, and vision of our team, and I am confident it will set a new standard for student-led conferences.

Khushi Naveed,

Secretary General.

Letter from the Principal

For more than a century, Kinnaird has stood as a symbol of excellence in education, shaping women of substance, vision, and character. Known for its vibrant academic culture and a tradition that blends intellect with leadership, Kinnaird continues to nurture individuals who are not only equipped with knowledge but also committed to making a difference in the world. This spirit of empowerment and engagement extends beyond classrooms into platforms that connect students with global ideas,  and Kinnaird Model United Nations is one such space.

At KCMUN, the values that define Kinnaird - confidence, dialogue, and leadership, find their fullest expression. The conference brings together students from across institutions to debate, deliberate, and seek solutions to the challenges facing our world. It is a celebration of diplomacy, diversity, and the power of youth to reimagine the future. Here, participants step into the shoes of diplomats and decision-makers, discovering the impact of their voices in shaping dialogue and building consensus.

Every student who walks through Kinnaird becomes part of a larger story, one of excellence, resilience, and a vision that reaches beyond borders. KCMUN is not just an experience of the United Nations, it is a training ground for leadership, a meeting point of diverse perspectives, and a reminder that meaningful change begins with conversation.

Regards,

Prof. Dr. Iram Anjum

Letter from the Patron

It is with great pleasure that I welcome you to the Kinnaird College Model United Nations (KCMUN). This year, we are proud to present the conference on a grander scale, bringing greater excitement, spirited competition, and renewed enthusiasm to every aspect of the event. Building upon the strong foundation laid by four successful editions of the International Relations Club Model United Nations (IRCMUN), this flagship event now takes on a new identity as KCMUN.

With this transformation comes a revitalized vision, enhanced ambition, and a continued commitment to excellence. KCMUN is an immersive experience designed to develop critical skills such as public speaking, analytical thinking, leadership, diplomacy, and teamwork. It challenges delegates to think globally, respond strategically.

This year’s theme, “Phoenix Awakens,” symbolizes a powerful new beginning, a resurgence beginning, a resurgence of ideas, passion, and purpose. We believe that MUNs serve as a training ground for the leaders of tomorrow who will promote peace, foster dialogue, and drive positive change in the global community.  With thought-provoking committees and dynamic debate sessions, KCMUN invites you to think critically, collaborate respectfully, and embrace your role as global citizens.

We look forward to the meaningful discussions, impactful resolutions, and shared vision that will define this edition of KCMUN.

May this conference be a catalyst for growth, connection, and transformation.

Dr. Shireen Mushtaq
